Slow going

I’ve been working on 2 projects in lace.  The Peacock shawl & my Pineapple.  Laceweight isn’t the fastest thing to knit.  I keep forgetting that.

This is about 18 rows of the pineapple.  There will be many more like this before I hit the body.  Up side is that it’s a mindless knit at this point.  I’m starting to wonder about the size of the beads though, they’re the same as the ones that I posted yesterday for my Peacock (the big ones) and this yarn is about the same weight.  I debated getting some more gold beads when I was at Sassy Bead picking up the purple ones but I think I’m going to wait until I’ve knit a row to see, this one might need the bigger beads.

Other then a few more rows nothing else is really changing.

I’m debating starting to run again.  We shall see, last year that ended in a pulled muscle in my foot.  The weather is getting warmer & I’m itching.  And I really need to loose some weight.

About Jadedknitter

I'm an author, a knitwear designer, a painter, and trying to find my love of the kitchen again. I write romance novels (they're candy, for the brain!) and read mostly history. I love to knit in the evenings curled up with my pug and watching whatever documentary strikes my fancy. My designs are born from a desire to knit something that I can see in my minds eye but can't find a pattern for. My current crop of paintings have been Celtic knots, I've drawn them for years now I'm colouring them in. Who knows what I'll end up doing next!
