I had a bunch of FO to post

First up: for those keeping score, the Postage Machine just won.

We were PM: 2.5 | Me: 0.5 after the last round.  It just had a fatal “error” occur and we’ve had to call the professionals to fix it.  Which means that there isn’t anything going out until he come.

I am officially waving the white flag, the Postage Machine has gotten the better of me.

Now I’m wondering if they’ll let me throw it out the window?

Then I couldn’t find my camera cord (after I’d already taken the pictures with said camera).

There will be hunting tonight for the cord and probably a general cleaning of the apartment – or a general trashing, we’ll see how things go.

I did however snap a few pictures of the shawls, which are much easier to position.  The light is bad because by the time I realized I was missing the cord I had lost the light.

This is Frost Flowers & Leaves from A Gathering of Lace.  I’ve done several patterns from this book now, all have turned out wonderfully & the patterns are well written.

The shawl is resting on Mable.  Mable needs some work & there will be better pictures.

This one is Spring Trellis by Linda Choo done in Noro.

About Jadedknitter

I'm an author, a knitwear designer, a painter, and trying to find my love of the kitchen again. I write romance novels (they're candy, for the brain!) and read mostly history. I love to knit in the evenings curled up with my pug and watching whatever documentary strikes my fancy. My designs are born from a desire to knit something that I can see in my minds eye but can't find a pattern for. My current crop of paintings have been Celtic knots, I've drawn them for years now I'm colouring them in. Who knows what I'll end up doing next!

Those shawls are so pretty! I really like the bright colours on that second one, and there’s really something to be said for how beautiful a pattern can be when done in white.
