Oops

I got 3 things off needles last night.  Two of Elizabeth Zimmermann’s Baby Surprise Jackets and Eileen.  All of which have been on the needles for far too long.

Now I have a problem.  I still have drawers full of stuff to finish.  I have things that I’d like to wear.  But I really want to cast on for something new.  Something I haven’t already started.

This could be an issue.

So far I’ve already bought 3 patterns and was eyeing a 4th before I realized what I’d done.  So the question is this:

What do I cast on tonight?

  1. Batick by Kitman Figueroa
  2. Damask also by Kitman Figueroa
  3. Owls by Kate Davies
  4. Fiddlehead Mittens by Adrian Bizilia

I have the yarn for 1 or 2 – same yarn, choice of projects.  3 is for Mum and I would have to acquire yarn and that will not happen tonight (which means I have to pick up a WIP to knit).  The last is a re-make, something to go with the hat that I made a while back – the mitts are too long (both in the hands and the cuffs) for regular use.

Anyone want to wade into this?

About Jadedknitter

I'm an author, a knitwear designer, a painter, and trying to find my love of the kitchen again. I write romance novels (they're candy, for the brain!) and read mostly history. I love to knit in the evenings curled up with my pug and watching whatever documentary strikes my fancy. My designs are born from a desire to knit something that I can see in my minds eye but can't find a pattern for. My current crop of paintings have been Celtic knots, I've drawn them for years now I'm colouring them in. Who knows what I'll end up doing next!
